THE RACE

The Arctic One Tri and Para Festival is now in it’s 4th year and we are really excited to be incorporating an ITU Paratriathlon World Cup this Year! The race takes place in the iconic Dorney Lake, which hosted the Rowing at the Olympics in London 2012. The bike and run courses are around the lake on flat, closed roads!

The race is suitable for all abilities and is a great opportunity to try Triathlon. The event is open to all from Novices to Elites and we are thrilled that the world’s best para athletes will be joining us for the ITU world paratriathlon cup, racing on the same course as everyone else!

Each race distance will have a separate wave for Para-athletes, except the Go Tri Super Duper which will be a mixed event with separate categories. If you don’t fancy doing the whole thing, you can team up with 1 or 2 friends and do any of the triathlons as a relay! Teams can be a mix of people including para athletes so a relay is a great option for families all to take part.

If you want a challenge, there is an option to do all three races in the same day!

RACE DAY SCHEDULE

The Sprint Races are likely to take places at approximately 7:30-8:30am.
The ITU paratriathlon world cup will be at 11:30am
The super Sprint races are likely to take place at approximately 3:00pm
The Go Tri Super Duper  is likely to take place at 4:00pm
The family run will either be just before or just after the ITU world cup event.

Please note that these are all approximate timings and are subject to change as we finalise the timetable.
